This year was a year full of many
new adventures for us!
Jessica finished college in the
spring and graduated with her degree in sociology.
It's pretty hard to find a spot on
her campus without a beautiful view of something. The post
graduation setting was no exception.
We took a break from working and celebrated our first
anniversary by taking a road trip to Solvang. Here we are
in the courtyard of the hotel we stayed at on the first night.
One of the reasons we went to
Solvang was to enjoy the food.
It is possible that we overindulged. Of course it didn't help
that our pastries tasted as rich as their price tag. One
of our choices ended up being a $5 dollar pastry! Woah,
Daddy!
On our way out of town we had to
stop and feed the ostriches. Jessica did a great job!
It was amazing how fast they could
empty that pot of food!
